What are the major benefits of replacing all of my windows?

After 40 years in this business, we have identified numerous benefits of getting rid of your old, most likely aluminum-framed, windows and replacing them with energy efficient, vinyl-framed windows.  Here are the top three we have identified that continue to bless homeowners.

Extended life of entire HVAC system

When you replace your windows with our energy efficient windows, the heat and air stays in the home, and the heat and cold stays out of your home.  This enables the HVAC system to heat or cool your home quicker, as well as extend the time dramatically as to when it has to kick back on again.  The windows eliminate cool and hot spots so your HVAC system doesn't have to work near as hard to keep your home cozy and happy.  Not to mention, keep you cozy and much happier because your energy bill will be lower as a result.

More peace, more quiet

The insulated glass units we use in our windows are manufactured by the industry leader, Cardinal Glass Technologies.  They are double pane units, and each pane is twice as thick (1/8" as opposed to standard 1/16") as the standard glass that comes in the older aluminum-framed windows.  This is essentially like having four panes of standard glass, along with the fact that between our two panes of glass there is Argon gas pumped in that is seven times more dense than air which also absorbs sound, and deflects heat and cold.  It doesn't cancel noise like BOSE headphones, but definitely makes a major difference muffling outside noise making your home more cozy and peaceful.

Lower energy bills

There are many things one can do to their home to decrease their energy bills.  Windows is a huge part of the equation.  It is hard to state an approximate savings one can expect to see when replacing the windows, but due to the extended life of the HVAC system benefit, it is definitely generous savings.  When homeowners upgrade their insulation and install solar fans as their form of ventilation, all of these things done together can save homeowners approximately 50% on their energy bill starting immediately.
